Vintage Fleur de Lis Joan of Arc Souvenir Locket Repurposed Necklace

These little French, vintage, lockets are always fun to find. Not fun to pay for, mind you, but fun to find! This one is pretty great. I'm not sure if it's sterling but the patina really looks like it is. It's exactly 1" high, has the profile of Joan of Arc (Jeanne D'Arc) and tiny fleur de lis (lises?) in each corner. On the back are more fleur de lises, the sword and the crown motifs. Freaking gorgeous. Inside...INSIDE this little French, souvenir locket are 3 METAL PAGES(!!!) -that's 6 sides for you to glue photos of your special someones- I left the 2 original photos inside but they are not glued in. The clasp is in perfect working condition and the hinge works beautifully. The locket hangs from a vintage, silver pin with a fleur de lis filigreed design. In the center is the Arc de Triomphe.

The "chain" is made up of blue topaz nuggets, vintage steel cut beads, fleur de lis metal connectors, vintage rhinestone balls, portions of a vintage, French souvenir bracelet (one has the Eiffel Tower on one side and the Arc on the other, the other one has the Eiffel Tower on one side and Sacre Coeur on the other), portions of a vintage, sterling silver necklace, rhinestone rondelles, vintage rosary beads and the clasp is from another vintage French souvenir bracelet with more Paris landmarks. From the clasp I hung a vintage, rhinestone button and a Arc de Triomphe charm.

It's the next best thing to a trip to Paris! (Okay, that is b.s. but it does cost a lot less!)
