Love Birds Vintage Repurposed Rosary Necklace

This is just too pretty for words. But, all I have are words so let me do my best to describe it to you.

At the very bottom is a repurposed vintage brooch with 2 swallows facing each other. It's engraved and wonderful and quite substantial - not at all flimsy.

I wire-wrapped that, with sterling silver wire, and 3 special beads -a sterling stardust rondelle embedded with tiny CZ's, 2 round beads from a vintage mother of pearl rosary and a sterling mirrored bead - and those are attached to an amazing centerpiece from a vintage rhinestone choker. It's kind of spectacular.

The "chain" is then made up of: a large mother of pearl bead from yet another vintage French rosary, rose links from a vintage rosary bracelet (complete with tiny saint on the back!), smaller round beads from still another vintage mother of pearl rosary interrupted by 2 lily charms from a vintage religious bracelet (again, with tiny saint on the back), 2 different rose charms from a sterling silver vintage rosary bracelet (yeah, yeah, with saint) and ending with 2 oblong mother of pearl rosary beads from still another rosary. Phew. Oh wait, the clasp...

The clasp is a vintage rhinestone box clasp. Overall length before the pendant section is approx 9". with pendant section, 12".

Gorgeous. Perfect for the bride. Or not. Gorgeous with a white or black t-shirt, too.
