3 Strands Repurposed Necklace with Harmonica
Three necklaces, each with a distinct, wonderful pendant, each with a distinct wonderful chain, all attached so you don't have to worry about them getting tangled in your jewelry box or while you're wearing them! Plus the clasp is a wonderful, vintage, clasp from a repurposed Paris souvenir bracelet!
Let's take it strand by strand, shall we? The longest strand (14" drop) is a vintage segmented chain with a great coppery finish. Hanging from that is a vintage sterling silver heart-shaped perfume holder from a chatelaine.
The middle chain (12" drop) is a vintage pink Mother of Pearl rosary. Yes, the entire rosary except for the crucifix. From the bottom I hung a wonderful repurposed souvenir brooch that depicts a wheelbarrow filled with flowers and has a banner "Bruxelles" (Brussels). Very charming.
The shortest chain (10" drop) is a rhodium chain and has 2 little treasures attached to it. From the bottom is a wonderful harmonica from the Hohner Harmonica Company. And, it works perfectly! It's stamped, "Made in Germany" and was probably on a watch chain as the fob as a giveaway from Hohner. (Hohner was founded in 1857 and made harmonicas and accordians!) Further up the chain is a vintage jewelers loupe.
Again, the 3 strands are attached at the clasp as if one necklace. Easy peasy.
